Rimonabant.

Rimonabant is a drug specially intended for the treatment of obesity in patients who did not benefit from other methods. It is supposed to be combined with a healthier diet for best effects. Certain mild side effects are possible when rimonabant is taken and they can include any of the following symptoms: nausea, dizziness, vomiting, depression, irritability, or restlessness. If you notice those side effects at the beginning of the treatment – there is usually no need to be worried, as symptoms of that kind tend to go away on their own. However, in case your side effects become more bothersome and start changing in intensity, it's time to talk to your health care provider as you may need a dose adjustment. It's recommended to talk through all the aspects of your treatment before starting to take rimonabant – just to make sure you are going to get all the benefits possible. Such medicines as antidepressants, epilepsy drugs, medicines for weight loss, antifungals, St. John’s wort, antibiotics, depression medications, drugs for normal blood lipid levels, antidiabetes medications, rifampicin, and HIV medications are supposed to be reported in advance.
